The Catalogue is a single point of reference covering data collections related to Health and Social Care services. Users include the NHS, Department of Health, Councils with Social Services Responsibilities (CSSRs), Arms Length Bodies, Other Government Departments (e.g. Home Office, Department for Education and Skills) and other organisations seeking national information (e.g. private sector, academia).
The Information Centre is responsible for reducing bureaucracy through
effective coordination of collections, elimination of duplication, and
delivering efficient and effective information sources to enable service
delivery improvements for service users regardless of the point of delivery,
e.g. NHS, DH or a CSSR.
If you work in an NHS or Social Care body, are asked to provide information by one of the organisations above and believe that collection is duplicated or unauthorised, please inform the Review of Central Returns (ROCR) team via the feedback link.
The completion of any unauthorised collections is entirely voluntary.
Please note: The catalogue is a new service and currently being piloted, and we are currently updating information held. Though we endeavour to ensure that the information held within the catalogue is accurate, occasionally errors may be made and we welcome feedback on the site, or corrections to the content.
We welcome comments or suggestions about this service via the feedback link.
